Flag Day Fundaiser!

June 20, 2019

Thank you to all who joined us for our celebration of Flag Day on June 13.  We enjoyed the opportunity to discuss our shared Republican principles and to experience some fellowship with like-minded individuals.  We had a great turnout with beautiful weather for our gathering on the deck at Skooters Roadhouse (700 W. Jefferson St., Shorewood).  We are especially appreciative of all elected officials and candidates who were able to join us.  Thank you to Peggy Hubbard for her inspiring story on her way to challenge Dick Durbin for the U.S. Senate.  Thank you to Vic for his testimonial about his conversion to the Republican way and introducing us to Eyes Right Open.  Finally, thank you Tom Mccullagh for bringing his friend Gallagher, world famous comedian and truthsayer, who shared some of his observations with us. THANK YOU to all our sponsors - Mark Batinick (97th District - State Representative); Roger Claar (Mayor of Bolingbrook); Tom McCullagh (Candidate for 49th District - State Senate); Joseph Baltz (Troy Township Supervisor); Don Gould (Will County Board - District 6); Gloria Dollinger (Will County Board - District 10); Bryan Kopman (Troy Township Trustee); and Frank Cservenyak (Troy Township Precinct Committeeman).

Don Walden (1931 - 2017)

May 24, 2017

Don, who served as a Trustee for Troy Township for over 30 years and was named Illinois Trustee of the Year in 2015 by the Township Officials of Illinois, passed away on May 20, 2017.  He was a staunch advocate for veterans and an example of how to give back to the community.  He is greatly missed by us and all who knew him.  You can read more about Don here.

Troy Township Republicans are on the Move!

August 15, 2015

The TTRC now has a "rolling" headquarters. As the economy has picked up, so has business for our benefactor who provided for our prior spaces in Shorewood - fortunate for him, unfortunate for us.  But, do not despair as we will still be meeting at our regularly scheduled times at various places throughout Troy Township.  Stay tuned for those locations to be announced. . .
